The three players that I picked were James Harden ( Arizona State) Gerald Henderson (Duke) and Nick Calathes (Florida). I broke down the categories into Drives (left & right), Catch and Shoot, Shots off Screens, and Jump shot off Dribble. I based the report on pro potential.
James Harden, 6'4", Sophomore, Arizona State
Drives: Likes to finish with left hand. May travel at times going right. Likes to start off going left and then crossover to the right. Likes to shoat floaters driving left. Strong drive, good decesion maker. Goes to the basket 70% of the
time.
Catch and Shoot: Smooth stroke. Not a lot of elevation on shot. Shoots the three when open which makes him more of an offensive threat. Has NBA range. A rythm shooter.
Shots off Screen: Reads screens very well. Will shoot or drive off of screens equally.
Jump Shot off Dribble: Decent shooter. Same stroke as his catch and shoot shot. Has a tendency to take tough shots, but will make majority of them.
Gerald Henderson, 6'5", Junior, Duke:
Drives: Strong driver. Doesn't look to pass which leads to turnovers (charges, dribbles off leg). Good finisher at rim. Not quick with dribble drives. Great finisher at basket (dunks, hanging layups, draws fouls)
Catch & Shoot: Nice form and stroke. Will shoot when open. Average shooter, nice arc on shot.
Shots off Screens: Finishes well at rim with back door alley-oops. Great route runner. Likes to come off screens going to his right. Nice smooth shot.
Jump Shots off Dribble: Better shoot going left. Great elevation, defense does not affect shot. As a defender, you will prefer him to shoot jumpshot. Sometimes will fadeaway going to his right.
Nick Calathes, 6'5", Sophomore, Florida:
Drives: Prefers going right. Not quick for the PG position. Doesn't get to the rim quickly. Below average finisher at the rim.
Catch and Shoot: Set shot. Nice Stroke. Can shoot the NBA range shot. Looks to shoot three point shot.
Shots off Dribble: Below average shooter. Shot is different, more like a floater because of his set shot.
Shots off Screens: Below average because of slow set shot. Has to open to be effective. Below average if he has to take a dribble.
Conclusion:
All trhee players have to size for the guard position at the next level. James Harden should be the number one guard taken in the draft next year. He reminds me of a Dwayne Wade (without the leaping ability) He can play the point but he's more of a two guard. James is the kind of player that you just let play. If he has a good-to-great college year, I'm predicting him to be a top 3 draft pick. I haven't looked at his defense yet, but his offensive game is fit for the pro level. He just has that take-over mentality. Gerald and Nick could be decent pros. Gerald is very athletic and I can see him being a defensive stopper but has the potential to be a poor-mans Vince Carter. Nick has to beef up a little and pick a position (either poing or 2 guard). I think he will have a better chance at being a good back up point at the pro level.

I feel that Gerald Henderson needs to play on a run & gun team cause if he dosent pass and plays selfish on a Dukes team i think he will find himself sitting next to the coach. Dukes Offense is more like a Pick, pass and shoot team.

Good overlook on how the player plays/moves in a game. Calathes has this finesse type of game and not at all atheletic. I think as he continues understand the game he'll be able to adjust his flaws he has in his game. Harden is definitely a big time offensive threat to a team. When you said he has some point guard skills I agree but he definitely doesn't need to do it because I don't think its his game. The shooting while contested does worry me a bit I can't complain when he makes a majority of them like you said. Henderson is selfish but not in a good way, he has this type arrogance in his game that needs to be adjusted. It will be interesting how he developed over the summer and how adjusted some of his weaknesses.

I agree when Nick Calathes is below average if he has to take a dribble when he goes out of screen, he should improve in speed ability, find better balance and in shooting, so he has some things he could work on.
For now, we are very glad he will be part of the greek national team, along with Koufos. In this team there are many very experienced players who play tough, i can see Calathes developing his style with his teamates better and NBA will not be just a dream for him anymore.
