The team I research by looking at player statistics, is Sacramento Kings. A very interesting small-medium
team of NBA who gives opportunities to young players and hopes to success this year. My thinking is to
build a team with 3,4 experienced players, scorer, 2-3 good drafts and many youth from colleges, plus 1-2
leaders of the team. Experience, scoring, good defense, team play, positive characters (psychology), and
hard work, is what i think a good General Manager looks for, in order to bring success to his club. The
marrying of these i hope to do and be a good 'best man'. Note: I left Bibby out because he left in mid-year.
Head Coach: Reggie Theus
General Manager: Geoff Petrie
Kevin Martin (age: 25)
A good player born for scoring, at a good age. With more experience he is ready to leader the team and
raise Sacramento’s aims. His salary is good for the team and he is going to work to raise it, it depends
from him solely to do that.
Ron Artest (age: 2Cool
Good scorer, with experience but his stats show that he isn’t like that due time. His salary is too big for his
contribution but i guess if a player feels he has the higher salary possible, he plays better out of
satisfaction that the team values him.
Brad Miller (age 32)
A useful tallman, experienced, excellent efficiency statistics, but it would be better if he could improve
even more. Coach trusts him and he just have to play more, there is still room for improvement, His salary
is i believe too high for this player but in our era you can find enter me the abilities and experience of
Miller easily anyway...
Beno Udrih (age 26)
Very useful point guard, good assist specialist, team play based but not so much self-reliant. He should
already have it if i can judge from the time his coach gives him to play. Salary is under new contract which
is good for this players profile, his contribution to the team and his age.
John Salmon (age 2Cool
Experienced good played, helping with scoring always AND defense, but nothing else. Nothing. Salary is
too high for his (new) contract.
Francisco Garcia (age 26)
Excellent players, with potential to be a leader and this year for sure he will get more time from coach. His
salary is ok, not as much as he could get, seems like the team has made a good deal for her part with this
contract. The player of of course can raise his salary in the future.
Mikki Moore (age 32)
Very strong player, good in defense but he could be faster and with more self-belief. His salary is too
good and the manager should be congratulated for this contract I think.
Shelden Williams (age 24)
Replacing center, which is needed always. With more playing time he can do more I think. He is at best
age anyway. Salary is too good already.
Quincy Douby (age 24)
Young able player to show more zeal in defence, he can get more playing time still and show more of
what he got. His salary is a good deal for the team's economy.
(If i was manager i would waive him and I would get Nick Calathes.)
Spencer Hawes (age 20)
Very young but good center who waits the opportunity to prove more his value, thats why he refused to
go to summer camp (last year he had knee injury). This year he wants to play. His salary is satisfactory
for certain from player side.
Anthony Johnson (age 34)
Helping point guard, nothing more really. Salary is too high. (I would waive Johnson and get TY Lawson,
a younger player with better efficiency)
Dahntay Jones (age 27)
Played too few minutes for a 27 old player. Salary good from the players perspective only. (from drafts it
would be good to get Tyler Smith from Tennessee, excellent scorer, strong built and self trust, maybe the
new leader)
Shareef Abdul Rahim (age 31)
A good but unlucky power forwards, last years he played only 6 games and showed quite a lot. His salary
is too good for him but being strong excuse it. (i would waive him and get Gyno Pomare from San Diego,
a strong and ambitious boy with much potential)
Justin Williams (age 34)
A center in good age with 5,4 min is maybe better to change environment. Salary is very good
(proposition: waive Williams and get Tyler Dierkers from Miami Hawks college. Great promising kid if he
works hard is all areas and positions of field)
Kenny Thomas (age 31)
Not so good statistics for a player that has great promise. His salary is huge for what he offers to the
team. Probably too much value was placed on this defensive capabilities. I expect a lot from his this year
(last year he played few games cause of injury but i would like a more experienced power forward in the
team)
Darryl Watkins (age 23)
A new center with great potential, if he has enough opportunity. It deserves for him to be part of the chess
game. His salary is clearly a college level salary and its up to the player to get more.
Orien Green (age 26)
Small percentages in statistics but he didn’t have enough playing time and few games so he needs to be
given more time. His salary is ok for what he offers to the team. (my thinking would be to waive him and
get Mike Taylor, 14,4 points in 39 games from Iowa)
Lorenzen Wright (age 32)
Very promising center who didnt give as much as expected. His salary is very good for the experienced
Wright. (i would waive him and get Kostas Koufos from Ohio to get better defense)
Trade in RealGm
Give Quincy Duby, Spencer Hawes for Steve Blake from Portland , 2 young men without good efficiency
to get one strong point guard who costs 4.250.000 $(the 2 exchange players cost together 3.616.810 $)
To finish, i must say my philosophy in the above team making. I think i made a team based on experience
more than anything else and scoring statistics. These two where my main concern in choosing who to
keep who to waive. =============================================================================== by think sport court by thinkfamilyvacation.com - A pioneer Basketball program by GM/SCOUT NBA with 4 parts= TOURIST/EDU/ART/Anti BULLYING/PRO SPORT GUIDANCE -A 7 YEARS STUDY/RESEARCH - A program [ with art social media /marketing ] which can..DOUBLE the.customers of ANY academy/ park/beach/hotel and Tourism of ANY village/island act- GET = ASK after your like in the page = https://www.thinkfamilyvacation.com/thinksportcourt #hotel #basketball #family #tourism #education #antibullying #guidance #island #village #lessons #offer #bullying ================================================================================
